A small international Art Festival is coming to Frederiksberg, Land of Art, an international art festival with exhibitions, art-talks, dance, music and visits to museums.

Taking place from August 24th through August 29th 2023.

The exhibition “Land of Art” is located at the “Gule Villa”, Dirch Passers Allé 2, Frederiksberg,

Opening: Saturday August 26th 12:00 – 17:00.
Program for the day:
12:00 the doors are open.
13:00 non-verbal opening speech/dance by Lise Kofod
13:10 opening speech by Lotte Kofoed, chairman of the board for Culture at Frb. Commune
15:00 Middle Earth Trio: World music outdoors in the yard in front of the building.
15:30-17:00 Social Dining in the yard

The exhibition will also be open Sunday 27th 14:00 – 18:00, with art-talks etc.

Simon Spang-Hanssen (DK), saxophones,flute
Music by Simon Spang-Hanssen & Maher Mahmoud and adaptations of folk-music.
A journey poetic and spicy journey across the borders of diverse musical cultures,,,,an oriental jazz-world-folk fusion with the sound of the oud as a sort of common ground and red thread.
Maher is graduated from the conservatory of Damascus, Ayi and Simon are both autodidact and have participated in numerous musical adventures mixing styles.
