The concert presents two major musical profiles from Turkey and Syria, respectively. Two instrumental equilibriumists, both resident in Aarhus, are presented: Saz player and singer Orhan Özgür Turan from Turkey and Maher Mahmoud from Syria, who plays Oud and is also a soloist at the Royal Academy of Music.
The repertoire is a mix of traditional music and original compositions of the two soloists.
